Description of the job
As an education and engagement officer you will support the Practice Quality Division to plan and develop resources and presentations to increase NDIS sector understanding of positive behaviour support and regulatory obligations to reduce and eliminate the use of restrictive practices within a human rights framework.
You will support the translation of complex regulatory information into accessible, user-friendly resources for the NDIS sector to use. You may also support the development and delivery of key presentations for the sector and other stakeholders.
The key duties of the position include
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- lead the in-house development of accessible and inclusive resources to support sector understanding of behaviour support and the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices and quality practice
- Resources may include but not limited to:
- videos, easy read guides and PowerPoint presentations representing key aspects of Practice Quality to support regulatory priorities externally and internally
- Resources may include but not limited to:
- liaison with key external and internal stakeholders
- developing presentations in consultation with subject matter experts
- supporting the delivery of presentations and co-presenting
