We are recruiting for two full-time ongoing Executive Support Officers to join the Governance & Executive Support branch at the Administrative Review Tribunal.
These roles are flexible and can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney or Perth.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Executive Officer, the Executive Support Officer provides a range of executive support to Jurisdictional Area Leaders and List Leaders of the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART), including in relation to member performance.
Executive Support Officers primarily provide administrative support related to member performance, including undertaking data entry and reporting activities. Executive Support Officers may provide a range of other administrative support within the Executive Support Section.

The key duties of the position include
- Administration and records management: Maintain accurate and current records consistent with relevant standards. Accurately record data related to member performance in relevant Tribunal systems. Data analysis: Generate reports and identify trends and issues through data analysis.
- Innovation and Change: Adapt new or changed ways of working and generate solutions to enhance the Tribunal's capacity for providing consistent, high-quality and accessible services to users. Contribute to a culture of embracing change and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge Application: Highly developed understanding, or the ability to rapidly acquire a highly developed understanding, of the ART's operations and in particular, the ART Performance Standard for Non-Judicial Members and the ART Performance Standard Guideline
About you:
You will be experienced in administration and records management with the ability to generate reports and identify trends. You will be looking to join an innovative high tempo team and have a strong appetite to learn,
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Well-developed ability to manage competing and changing priorities in a complex environment, with excellent attention to detail and sound organisational skills.
- Sound judgement and good analytical skills, including the ability to escalate issues appropriately and the ability to draw on data to identify issues.

- Verbal and written communication skills of a high standard including a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with tact and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly gain knowledge of, the operations, systems, caseload and legislative and policy frameworks of the Tribunal.
